One sweet treat from the Bay State has taken the internet by storm.
Garnering viral attention from TikTok users, the Apple Cider Donut Ice Cream Sandwich from the Belkin Family Lookout Farm in Natick has had thousands on social media talking.
“That looks delicious! I’m from Rhode Island I need to go there!!!” one TikTok user wrote on a viral video of the ice cream sandwich.
MassLive decided to head to the farm at 89 Pleasant St. S and check it out for ourselves. See a review below.
For $7.50, you can get a frozen serving of vanilla ice cream wedged between two fluffy, cinnamon-and-sugar apple cider doughnuts. The ice cream sandwich is located in the Lookout Farm Market, next to the brewing and cider building.
Or if you’d rather try the farm’s fresh apple cider doughnuts, you can get a pack of three for the same price of the ice cream sandwich, $7.50.
The farm was originally established in 1650, according to its website. It is one of the oldest continuously working farms in the United States.
The farm currently cares for more than 65,000 trees on 160 acres of orchard. The farm grows 29 varieties of apples, as well as peaches, plums, Asian pears, nectarines, pumpkins, grapes and hops.
