‘This is my worst fear’: Woman drives car into trash compactor

Some of Southborough residents’ worst fears were realized Thursday when a woman drove her car into the town’s trash compactor Thursday.

Officials shared photos from the incident, showing the car nose down in the trash “pit.” The police department said the driver was not hurt and Ted’s Towing helped remove the car from the trash compactor.

“This is my worst fear when I go to the transfer station,” one person wrote on the police department’s Facebook post.
