Several adoptable animals in Massachusetts are hoping to find their forever homes by getting into the Halloween spirit.
Chewy teamed up with the Animal Rescue League of Boston to help several adoptable animals dress up for Halloween. Aside from letting them dress in their best costumes, this effort was to help make these animals more adoptable.
You can read more about each adoptable animal below.
Taco and Cilantro
Located at: Animal Rescue League of Boston — Boston Shelter
Description: Male white and brown Chihuahuas
Age: 6 and 7
About: These two Chihuahua brothers walk great on leash, are potty trained and love exploring the outdoors. The ARL would love for the brothers to go home together. But each may do well on their own. Cilantro is more interested in people, while Taco is more independent. The brothers would fare best in a low-key home where they can get plenty of lap time and cuddles, especially under a blanket.
Kyle
Located at: Animal Rescue League of Boston — Boston Shelter
Description: Male Brindle Plott Hound and Pit Bull Terrier mix
Age: 2 years, 5 months
About: This friendly boy was found on the streets and taken in by the ARL earlier this month. The shelter believes Kyle has never lived in a traditional home, so officials hope he can find a family who can be home more often than not and with a backyard so Kyle can play in the grass and bask in the sun. Kyle’s adoption fee is also waived, thanks to the Jeff’s Fund, which is aimed at helping animals who have been at the shelter for longer periods to get adopted.
Mumu
Located at: Animal Rescue League of Boston — Boston Shelter
Description: Male white and black Guinea Pig
Age: 8 months
About: Mumu is a young, energetic boy who has been at the ARL since May. He was surrendered because his previous owners were unable to bring him when they moved. The shelter said Mumu would do best in a home with another Guinea Pig — as long as he is introduced to them slowly.
Timo and Aneto
Located at: Animal Rescue League of Boston — Boston Shelter
Description: Male brown and black shorthaired rabbits
Age: 1 year, 1 month
About: Timo and Aneto have become quite the pair since arriving at the ARL in April. The bunnies love to explore and play with toys. When they’re not exploring, the boys can be found cuddling next to each other or on either side of their favorite tunnel. They are hoping to find their forever home together.
