
West Springfield – The World Affairs Council of Western Massachusetts will present their 99th Annual Meeting and Reception on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield Country Club, 1375 Elm St, West Springfield.
The speaker will be U.S. Representative Richard Neal and will give the 2025 Sue C. Root Citizen Diplomacy Award to Nicole LaChapelle, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. There will also be a short business meeting to report on the state of the Council and elect members of the Board of Directors.
There will be a reception with a cash bar starting at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. The cost per person is $45.
