WESTFIELD – It appears that the St. Mary’s High School girls basketball team has put a season-opening 40-21 loss to Franklin Tech squarely in the rearview mirror.
St. Mary’s turned back Commerce, 56-18, Monday night to win their second straight game and improve to 2-1. Audrey Amaral led the Saints with 18 points. Paige Hutkoski delivered 10 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Kailyn Cabrini was the team’s second-leading scorer with 14 points. She also had six rebounds.
