Mel reunites with 15 of this season’s remarkable women to revisit the most unforgettable moments in a new episode of “The Golden Bachelor” airing on Wednesday, October 29.

Retired NFL player, Mel Owens, will start his journey to find love as “The Golden Bachelor” for season two. The 66-year-old Detroit native comes from a “close-knit Midwestern family,” according to ABC.
He attended the University of Michigan and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams as the ninth pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. After his NFL career, he moved to Orange County, California and pursued a career in law, where he represented clients in sports-related injuries.
There will be 23 women vying for Mel’s love, ranging from 58 to 77 and include a longevity nurse, a librarian, a retired biomedical engineer, a flight attendant, a retired elementary school teacher and more.
