What is “The Challenge” Season 40 about?
The contestants are split up into four teams from different eras of The Challenge’s 26-year history. Fans will be able to cheer on familiar faces from veterans like Mark Long, Chris ‘C.T.’ Tamburello and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio as well as younger contestants like Horacio Gutiérrez Jr. and Michele Fitzgerald returning for Season 40.
It’s possible the name of the season drew inspiration from Taylor Swift’s iconic The Eras Tour where she performs songs from each “era” of her discography.
