The Big E continues unique pizza options with Crab rangoon — but is it worth it?

Crab rangoon pizza sounds like something you’d see on a viral TikTok that you send to your friends, adding to an ever-growing list of ridiculous food you see on social media but never actually eat.

But for those attending The Big E in West Springfield, your crab rangoon pizza mashup dreams can become reality.

Crab rangoon pizza is offered at Top The Crust, located in front of the giant Ferris wheel. It costs $18 for the entire pizza and no individual slices are offered.

The pizza is made with a crab rangoon base, surimi, green onion, mozzarella, asiago, crispy wontons, and a sweet chili sauce on a thin pizza crust.

The crab rangoon base and sweet chili sauce are the stars any crab rangoon fan will love. Although, the sauce does make the pizza a bit sticky — and one that bees love.

The pizza is made as you order it. So, you can always ask for it without the chili sauce if you don’t want sticky fingers or the added spice.

The pizza is a perfect option to split with a couple of people to enjoy the fun, unique fair food without feeling too full for a cream puff after.

It’s offered in a to-go box but it can be difficult to hold as you walk around the fair. If you really want to bring it home, consider making this your last stop of the night.

MassLive rated the pizza a nine out of 10. We really wish individual slices were an option.
