WESTFIELD — A potluck dinner for volunteers took place at Grandmothers’ Garden on Aug. 16, to thank everyone for their hard work in preparing the historical garden for its 90th anniversary year.
The garden is part of the city-owned Chauncey Allen Park on Smith Avenue, but is largely maintained by volunteers. As part of the celebration, the group also recognized the contributions of one longtime contributor.
