The Pope Francis girls hockey team experienced another memorable season, as they fell one game short of competing in the Division I state quarterfinals in March. The Cardinals were paced by an experienced senior class of Ivorie Arguin (19), Ela Rabidoux (16), Lily Hayes (12), and Kaitlyn Ondrick (10) on offense that combined to record 57 of their team’s 78 goals.
Regardless of their departure, though, Pope Francis is prepared for another successful year. With assistance from Cardinals coach Chris Connors, MassLive created its first annual “Starting Six” article to give fans an idea of who might light up the lamp or make a game-changing save this winter.
