HARTFORD, CONN. – The Westfield Starfires drew a raucous crowd of 3,348 fans to Dunkin Park, the home of the Hartford Yard Goats on Tuesday. The home of the AA affiliate of MLB’s Colorado Rockies saw the Starfires battle the Vermont Lake Monsters in a game that was within a run through eight innings before Vermont ultimately pulled away for a 13-5 win.
The Starfires fell to 10-29-2 on the season while the Lake Monsters upped its record to 25-16.
