A Mattapan man was arrested near Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields in connection with a stabbing on Saturday, Boston police announced Sunday.
At around 4 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested and charged Kymani Walker, 19, of Mattapan, with armed assault to murder, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said in a statement.
Officers arrived at the area of 215 Charles St. after they were notified of a person who was stabbed, the department stated. Police found a man with several stab wounds before he was taken to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.
