DANVERS – With six minutes left in a game and the Catholic Conference title on the line, St. John’s Prep junior defender Ryan King sent the ball into the box. Senior captain Matt Foley was there to head the ball into the net past Saint John’s Shrewsbury goalkeeper Colin Casperson to break the 1-1 tie.
Foley’s goal would ultimately serve as the game winner to secure a 2-1 win in addition to Prep’s third consecutive conference title and seventh in the last eight seasons.
