Four generations of a family and their close friends packed the Wyckoff Country Club in Holyoke banquet hall to the brim this past weekend as Springfield veteran Thomas Fratamico Sr. celebrated his 100th birthday a few days early.
Not many people get to see their 100th birthday, and even fewer do it with a smile that stretches from ear to ear. But, for Fratamico, joining the elusive centenarian club is not only a massive milestone, but another check off his to-do list.
