SPRINGFIELD – A woman was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday evening.
The shooting took place just before 7 p.m. in the area of 600 Parker St., near the intersection of North Branch Parkway, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.
Police located the wounded woman when responding to reports of a shooting victim in the area. She was brought to Baystate Medical Center by ambulance for treatment, he said.
