Springfield police say excessive force suit presents ‘novel legal question’

Guistina Aprileo, who was arrested by the police on Nov. 7, 2018, according to her complaint filed in Hampden Superior Court, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.
