SPRINGFIELD – A few years back when the Latino Counseling Center was still small, it was asked if it could work with city students in need of help.
“We were asked, ‘Can you handle the schools?’ and I said, I don’t know but let’s go,” said Maria Silva, chief operating officer for the center.
