SOUTHWICK — Select Board member Douglas Moglin acknowledged Monday night the town’s response to a toxic algae bloom discovered Friday on the Middle Pond of Congamond Lakes, which resulted in an advisory that people should avoid using it, was a “little bit disjointed.”
“I think we need to have a better, kind of, for lack of a better word, just kind of a protocol so that everybody’s on the same page … because it seemed like it was a little bit disjointed,” Moglin said during the board’s meeting Monday.
