SOUTHWICK — The town’s Parks and Recreation director said Thursday Town Beach was closed for water activities on Wednesday afternoon after testing by the town’s Health Department found elevated levels of bacteria in the waters of South Pond.
“This is a situation we don’t like to have happen,” Parks and Recreation Director Cara Cartello said.
