No. 1 Cathedral and No. 3 South Hadley will play in the Division IV girls basketball state championship. this afternoon at the Tsongas Center on the campus of UMass Lowell. Tip-off is at noon.
The Tigers’ appearance in the title round is their first in program history. The team comes into the game with a record of 22-3 and following a win against Tyngsborough in the semifinal round. Cara Dean and Drew Alley have each led the program in scoring this winter.
