It’s not unusual for changes to take place from year-to-year with local broadcast teams, and some turnover and adjustments are indeed coming to both the Red Sox’ radio and TV crews for the 2025 season.
According to multiple sources, Lou Merloni will have a bigger workload on NESN’s telecasts, serving as the analyst for more than half the games. NESN will show about 150 games throughout the course of the season, with ESPN, Fox, FS1 and Apple+ peeling off a combined dozen or so games nationally from the schedule.
