Six Flags New England is bringing back its Halloween celebration with an expanded schedule and dozens of scary attractions for the 2025 season.
Fright Fest opens Saturday, Sept. 20, and runs weekends and select days through Sunday, Nov. 2. This year, families will get an extra weekend at the park for “Last Scare” Weekend on Nov. 8-9.
The Halloween event features more than 20 attractions, including five haunted mazes: Nightmares, Terror Tales, Slasher Circus 3D, Midnight Mansion, and Camp Killamore.
Visitors will also encounter seven immersive scare zones throughout the park, where “creatures lurk in the fog and sinister performers emerge from the shadows.” Each zone presents its own theme, ranging from toxic wastelands to demon-infested cities and carnivals filled with sinister clowns.

Live entertainment includes shows such as Midnight Uprising, The Awakening, and Mort’s Used Coffins. Returning for its second season is “Love at First Fright,” a family-friendly musical about social media influencers whose quest for viral content takes an unexpected turn when monsters get involved.
For families seeking less frightening options, Kids Boo Fest will run during daytime hours on weekends and select days through Nov. 2, offering Halloween activities including a trick-or-treat trail, hay maze, pumpkin patch, crafts, and a costume showcase.
The park has implemented age restrictions for evening hours. After 6 p.m., Fright Fest is not recommended for children under 12. Beginning at 4 p.m., all guests 17 and younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old.
Park admission includes both Kids Boo Fest and Fright Fest, with tickets available online starting at $39.
