SOUTHWICK — The Select Board informally decided on Monday to approach the state about leasing it a small portion of a larger property just off Feeding Hills Road to provide parking for an access to the New England National Scenic Trail.
“Instead of spending town money, we’d rather lease from the state a small parcel to provide parking for the trail,” said Select Board Chair Diane Gale on Wednesday.
