Red Sox lose: Two Orioles stars homer as Baltimore forces split

BALTIMORE — For the Red Sox to get where they want to go in the home stretch of the season, they’re going to need to keep the ball in the ballpark and limit defensive errors. They did neither Sunday.

Despite another good outing from Kutter Crawford, the Red Sox fell victim to two big blasts by Orioles stars and fell, 4-2, in the finale of a four-game set at Camden Yards. Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson both homered as Baltimore forced a split. With the loss, the Sox fell to 65-58 despite outhitting the O’s, 11-3. Boston is 12-16 since the All-Star break.
