Some Massachusetts residents will be getting snow this week.
While the entire commonwealth should prepare for cold temperatures, those in the Berkshires might also be getting snow.
Brief snowflakes are expected late Monday afternoon or early evening in the Berkshires, the National Weather Service predicted. The greatest chance is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
More snow is expected to hit the area Wednesday night.
Starting around 7 p.m., residents in the Berkshires should expect some snow that could last into Friday. However, it is most likely to end early Thursday morning, the weather service predicted.
There’s also a chance of rain rather than snow, as temperatures will be right around 32 degrees.
