WESTFIELD — Hutghi’s at the Nook, 8 Franklin St. in Westfield, is hosting a benefit concert for the renovation of the Westfield Skate Park at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25.
The concert will feature the bands Always Manic, Cora Monroe, ANDYHASABAND, and Bag Lady. The cost is $15 per person, with all proceeds going to the Skate Park.
Jeff Burke of Westhampton, a Westfield native and skater who has been taking the lead on renovating the park, said plans are moving along. In September, the city of Westfield signed a contract with Connecticut-based SLR Engineering, which performed a site investigation survey and ground testing for the site plan.
