Popular chicken fast-food chain opening more than a dozen restaurants in Mass.

Chick-fil-A is expanding its reach in Massachusetts over the next few years.

Starting in Foxborough with a new restaurant in Patriot Place, the fast-food chain will be opening 12-15 more stores across Massachusetts.

Chick-fil-A broke ground on its Foxborough restaurant and is set to open the Patriot Place this fall.

“This marks the first step in Chick-fil-A’s growing investment in the state of Massachusetts, as the company is set to open up to seven new restaurants across the state this year, followed by five to eight more restaurants by the end of 2027,” a press release read.

The new restaurants will create an estimated 1,600 new jobs by 2027.

There are already 19 Chick-fil-A locations in Massachusetts.

By the end of 2027, residents across the Bay State can anticipate new restaurants, including in:

  • Greater Boston: Danvers, Foxborough, Hudson, South Station and Boston Logan International Airport
  • Central Massachusetts: Worcester
  • Western Massachusetts: East Springfield and West Springfield
  • Southeastern Massachusetts: Somerset and Dartmouth
