Police say he got into a car uninvited; he says he was trying to stop abuse

But he’d done the right thing, Kemran Lachinov thought, as a police officer grabbed at his green reflective parking lot attendant’s vest.

Lachinov had just reported what he thought was an incident of abuse against a disabled person. He said he’d witnessed it inside a car idling in the street, right in front of the tent he stood at in the parking lot of the business he owns in West Springfield near Gate 7 at The Big E.
