Westborough police are asking for the public’s help locating a Shrewsbury man who they say held a girl at a hotel against her will.
Police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Iury Vieira DeSouza, who has a possible address in Shrewsbury, in connection with the incident. DeSouza “could be operating” a black Acura with the license plate 1GXJ36.
On Tuesday at around 11 a.m. the Westborough Public Safety Communications Center received a report of a juvenile being held against her will at a local hotel, police said. Officers immediately went to 19 Connector Road, where they found the girl. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said.
