A 1-year-old pit bull is looking for a new home after her former owner’s landlord didn’t allow her breed — “but she hasn’t let that dampen her spirits,” Dakin Humane Society said.
Naira is described as playful, sweet and full of personality. She loves flopping in the grass, going for walks or hikes, and making people laugh with her goofy antics, the humane society wrote.
She’s done well with kids of all ages and lived peacefully with a cat. Dakin said she’s never lived with another dog but that she loves to play and would do best with a tolerant dog who can match her “over-the-top play style.” Her adoption fee is $99.

The 1-year-old is house trained and uses pee pads if left for too long.
“After getting her energy out, she’s happy to relax and chill with her people,” Dakin wrote. “Naira’s ready to bring joy and fun into a new home — could it be yours?”
