A week into the season and the Chiefs and Bills are winless and the Jets and Browns are undefeated, so it feels sort of appropriate that Jim and I are each 2-2 heading into Week 2. The Eagles and Vikings both have some things to sort out after wobbly starts and very little time to do.
The Eagles have the benefit of being at home and having won despite last week’s wobbliness. But can they cover a 7-point spread against the Vikings, who lost a tight game to Tampa Bay?

That’s what Eagles fans are going through following the team’s hard-fought win over the Patriots in Week 1 — and they even covered! They’ll be much more calm following this one, and I’ll be over .500 for the first time in 2023.

Season Record: (2-2) — The Eagles looked a little shaky beating the Patriots last week but they made enough plays in key spots to pull out the win on the road. While I suspect there are things they’d like to work on and will get better at they don’t have a lot of time to get there. That said, the Vikings lost to a Bucs team that I don’t expect to win six games so I think the Eagles will pull away late.
