A person was rushed to the hospital after they were pulled from underneath a vehicle in North Reading Wednesday night, according to Fire Chief Don Stats and Police Chief Mark Zimmerman.

The crash happened near the corner of Fieldcrest and Hollywood terraces around 7:48 p.m. on Nov. 29, both officials said in a joint statement. When they arrived, crews found a person who was trapped under the vehicle.

North Reading firefighters had to use airbags to lift the vehicle and free the person, according to officials. The victim was then brought to the hospital for treatment. There was no word on their condition, officials said.
