Person ‘may have been struck’ on highway in Holyoke, Mass. State Police say

A person may have been struck on the highway in Holyoke on Tuesday night.

Just before 10:30 p.m., a crash happened on the southbound side on Interstate 91 in Holyoke, just beyond exit 14, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The crash involved multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, state police said.

A preliminary investigation into the crash indicated a person “may have been struck” by a vehicle, state police said.

No other information on the circumstances of the crash or the people who were involved was available as of Wednesday morning.

The crash caused the left and right lanes of I-91 to close, and for the southbound side of the highway to close at exit 14, according to MassDOT. The highway was open as of Wednesday morning.
