Jeannie Boudreau has been appointed mortgage loan 0fficer at Westfield Bank. She is responsible for Westfield, Holyoke, Huntington and surrounding communities, and will be based out of the bank’s 560 East Main St. location in Westfield.

Boudreau has over 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry, holding multiple roles including area manager and producing branch manager prior to joining Westfield Bank. She serves as an affiliate member to the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley while also volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Springfield Rescue Mission.

Boudreau lives in Belchertown.

The St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke announced its 51st Gallivan Award winner, Susie Howard, of Westfield. The Daniel J. Gallivan Award is given to a long-standing member of the committee who, while not a resident of Holyoke, has made significant contributions to the overall success of the parade and/or the committee. The award is named in honor of Daniel Gallivan, who was from South Hadley and a longtime member of the committee.

Howard attended public schools in Westfield and is a 2011 graduate of Westfield State University. Her background is in graphic design and art direction and while she has worked with a variety of businesses and universities, she recently started a new position as a nurture marketing manager with the University of Arizona Global Campus. Susie also has her own business providing branding and photography services in the local market. She conceived of and managed a downtown Westfield pub crawl, Ales for Tails, which lasted several years with proceeds going to a local animal shelter.

Howard is a longtime member of the Sons of Erin and was on the Westfield Colleen Court in 2013. She has served the Westfield Parade Committee and the St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke since 2012 and recently finished her five-year term on the committee’s board of directors. She is co-chair of the website committee and also serves as the committee’s in-house photographer. She will be honored at the Holyoke Grand Colleen Coronation Ball and Awards Night along with the other 2024 award wWinners on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. The 71st Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade will be held on Sunday, March 17, and the 47th St. Patrick’s Road Race will be held on Saturday, March 16.

Florence Bank announces that Andrew Sullivan of Wilbraham has joined the staff as vice president/commercial lender.

He began his banking career as a credit analyst at a mutual bank in the region, but soon discovered an affinity for relationship building and helping commercial customers achieve their goals. Prior to joining Florence Bank, he served as a portfolio manager, small business loan officer and commercial loan officer.

The founder of the Andrew Sullivan Swing For a Cure Golf Tournament, which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Sullivan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management and a master of business administration from Elms College.

Sullivan is the chairman of the West of the River Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Frank Robinson, vice president of public health for Baystate Health, will be retiring from his position on Jan. 31. Dr. Robinson has served in his current leadership role since 2015 and has been with Baystate Health since 1995.

During his 28-year tenure at Baystate Health, Robinson has led the development and innovation of organizational and community-based initiatives and programs. For two decades (1995-2015), Robinson served simultaneously as the executive director of Partners for a Healthier Community and the director of community health planning, facilitating collaborative response and execution in addressing multiple community issues and public health crises. He was involved in the founding of the Baystate Academy Charter Public School in 2013 and the establishment of the Baystate Springfield Educational Partnership at Baystate Health.

In recent years, Robinson has served as the convener of collaborating organizations throughout western Massachusetts in the advancement of the Anchor Collaborative and Alliance for Digital Equity. In 2023, he led the charge for expansion of digital services within the region and was awarded a $5.1 million dollar grant by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute to advance digital equity through digital literacy, public space modernization, and connectivity.

Robinson earned the 2008 Luminary Award, the highest public health honor and recognition granted by the City of Springfield for service to the city on behalf of residents; the 2009 Rebecca Lee Award by Harvard School of Public Health and Massachusetts Department of Public Health in recognition of commitment to eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities and improve health within communities of color in Springfield; and the 2010 Lemuel Shattuck Award by the Massachusetts Public Health Association. Dr. Robinson was awarded the Visionary and Innovative Leadership Award for Regional Collaboration from the Revitalize Community Development Corporation and received a citation from then-Gov. Charlie Baker for his accomplishments. He was also honored with the Health Care Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award from BusinessWest and Health Care News.

A celebration is being planned in Robinson’s honor with more details to follow.

Western New England University announces the addition of Raymond McCarthy to its Board of Directors.

McCarthy serves as the steward of financial oversight at Baystate Health, a $2.4 billion integrated delivery system in western Massachusetts.

He is a certified public accountant, Massachusetts Health Leadership College fellow, and a graduate of Western New England University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance and his Master of Business Administration in health/health care administration/management from WNE.

His accomplishments include serving as the chief financial officer of Baystate’s provider enterprise, Baystate Medical Practices, and as the CFO of Baystate’s joint venture, Baycare Health Partners.
