A pedestrian who was hit by a car in Hanover late Friday was taken to a trauma center with serious injuries, according to authorities.
The car struck the pedestrian Friday night in the area of 104 King St. in Hanover. The individual was taken from the scene of the crash to a trauma center in the area in serious condition, according to a statement from the Hanover Fire Department around 8 p.m. Friday.
“Avoid the area,” the department said.
A fire engine, squad car and ambulance responded to the crash. All off-duty members of the department have since been recalled to cover additional 911 calls, according to the statement.
No further information about the crash was immediately released by authorities to the public Friday night.
