The Patriots made some roster moves ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
Terrell Jennings was placed on injured reserve due to a concussion. The running back will miss the final four games of the regular season, but could return for the playoffs.
D’Ernest Johnson was signed to the active roster from the practice squad. The running back was out of roster elevations, and will likely serve as New England’s RB3.
The Patriots also elevated Leonard Taylor III to the active roster. The defensive tackle signed with New England’s practice squad in October. In 16 NFL games, all with the New York Jets, Taylor has 27 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The Bills, meanwhile, elevated defensive end Andre Jones Jr. and cornerback Dane Jackson from the practice squad. Jackson’s elevation likely isn’t good news for Christian Benford, who was questionable on Friday after the Bills standout cornerback suffered a toe injury during practice.
This is the second time these two teams will meet this season. New England earned an upset win in Week 5 in Buffalo, and another win against its division rival will clinch the AFC East for the Patriots for the first time since 2019.
