“Valley Economy 101: Ledgers and Livelihood” is the theme of this year’s Outlook feature.
As the manager of The Big E, you might expect me to write about “Ledgers and Livestock,” and indeed I could wax on for hours about those subjects. But I am an accountant by training and profession, and in that context, the words “ledgers” and “livelihood” have special meaning to me. Today, I’d like to share my concerns for the ledgers and livelihoods of all of us in the Pioneer Valley during 2024.
