WESTFIELD — For the organizers of Unified Worship, a Saturday evening religious gathering in downtown Westfield, this event is about unity between faith communities, and a bit about Jesus.
“It was created to bring people from a faith background, or not, to learn about Jesus and fellowship with other people from the community,” said organizer Deborah Rodriguez.
This is the fifth year of Unified Worship, which originally began as “Backyard Worship.” Taking place from 5 to 9 p.m. in Park Square, the event will feature worship music and inspirational words from preachers, said Rodriguez.
