One $1 million, three $100,000 lottery prizes won in Massachusetts on Wednesday

It was a lucky day for four lottery players in Massachusetts on Wednesday, when one person claimed a $1 million scratch ticket and three winning $100,000 “Mass Cash” tickets were sold.

The winning numbers for the “Mass Cash” drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 25, were 1, 5, 14, 17 and 21.

Two of the winning tickets from the drawing were sold in Everett, from Dan’s Convenient Mart. The other $100,000 “Mass Cash” prize was won on a ticket bought at a 7-Eleven in South Boston.

The $1 million ticket claimed on Wednesday was from the lottery’s “$4,000,000 Diamonds” scratch ticket, which was released in April. It was bought in Wilmington from a shop called Sunrise Market, and was the fourth $1 million prize to be claimed in the game.

Overall, there were at least 588 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 12 in Springfield and 22 in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

The two largest lottery prizes won in the state of Massachusetts so far in 2023 were $33 million and $31 million Mega Millions jackpot prizes. The tickets were each sold a week apart.

The $33 million ticket for the Tuesday, Jan. 24 drawing was purchased from a Stop & Shop in Belchertown. The winner came forward to claim the prize on March 1 through the Skylark Group Trust.

The $31 million Mega Millions jackpot ticket was won on Jan. 31. The winning ticket was bought in Woburn from a Gibbs gas station, and the winner claimed the prize on March 8 through S & L Trust.
