Northampton’s police chief Jody Kasper is one of three finalists to take over as Nantucket police chief.
“It’s a great honor and a privilege to serve as chief of police for the city of Northampton. I am so proud of all that NPD has accomplished over my 25-year career. I am lucky to work with such dedicated and professional people who are so committed to providing exceptional service to our city,” Kasper said. “I am currently exploring an opportunity to lead the Nantucket Police Department … I look forward to continuing my work in public safety and public service in a career that I love.”
