NORTHAMPTON — After her lightning-fast triumph at the Paris Olympics, Gabby Thomas is showing the world that Northampton women are strong — and fast.
Thomas outran the world in the 200-meter race on Tuesday and crushed her competition for her first gold medal, finishing 0.25 seconds faster than Saint Lucia’s Julian Alfred, who won the gold medal in the 100-meter race a few days before.
