BURLINGTON — Coming into Friday night, No. 4 Needham was the only public school still alive in the Division I state tournament, and it was something that the Rockets took pride in.
Back in middle school, a handful of Needham seniors decided that, despite the number of private schools surrounding their town, they weren’t going to go anywhere.
