WORCESTER ― Entering the Division I state baseball tournament as the No. 14 seed, nobody outside of Chelmsford expected the Lions to make a deep playoff push.
The Lions themselves though never wavered. Needing to win five games to come home as champions, Chelmsford left the best for last.
