WORCESTER − Joseph Case and Hampshire softball teams have become accustomed to meeting in the Division IV state tournament. Two years ago, they duked it out in the championship and last year, in the quarterfinals. Both times, the Cardinals had the upper hand.
On Thursday, the top-seeded Raiders faced off against No. 4 Joseph Case once again at Worcester State University for the semifinal round, with a trip to the state championship on the line.
