Despite negotiations getting close to an agreement, the Newton Teachers Association continued their strike for an 11th day as the union and Newton Public Schools continued to differ over pay for educators.
There was no school on Friday, Feb. 2 as the strike continues, according to the Newton Public Schools website. This is the 11th day the strike has continued.
