The North Shore has welcomed a new waterfront restaurant that serves food from sunrise to sunset.
Mila’s officially opened at Gibson Point in Revere on Monday, July 14.
The day-to-night restaurant, complete with indoor/outdoor waterfront dining, is the latest concept from Aldi Companies Founder Michael Aldi. Aldi is the mastermind behind other well-known concepts Dryft, Fine Line and VIVI’s Tapas Bar.
“Mila’s is everything from your go-to coffee shop to your dependable dinner spot and ideal place to gather with friends,” Aldi said in a press release, adding that Gibson Point’s waterfront setting “supports the kind of dynamic experience we aim to create for our guests.”
“Chef Adriano da Silva has once again created a special menu that echoes the essence of Gibson Point,” Aldi said. “We can’t wait to welcome guests.”
Mila’s holistic menu ranges from cafe staples to classic dinners. Opening at 8 a.m. every day, the restaurant’s earliest guests can pick up breakfast items such as overnight oats, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels, smoothies and juices. In addition, the coffee bar features a variety of hot and iced beverages made with premium blends.
By the evening, Mila’s rolls out its Neapolitan-inspired menu. Guests can build their own brick-oven pizzas or share a small plate such as the hanger steak bruschetta, prime dry aged meatballs or classic charcuterie board. Larger shared dishes include miso salmon, sole piccata and lobster BLT sliders.
The 139-person restaurant consists of 89 indoor seats and 50 outdoor seats as well.
“Mila’s reflects our broader commitment to health, wellness, connection, and unparalleled, five-star service,” Damian Szary and Kyle Warwick, principals at Redgate, said in the press release. “The eatery is more than a restaurant; it’s a gathering place and cornerstone of the Gibson Point and Revere community.”
Mila’s kitchen is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the bar open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The morning menu is served from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., midday menu from 3-5 p.m., and dinner menu from 5 to 10 p.m.
