A popular fast-food chain, best known for its chicken, is opening another location in Massachusetts.
The new Popeyes will be located at the former site of Brookline’s Mission cannabis dispensary, which closed in September at 1024B Commonwealth Ave.
The location will have 12 seats and focus on digital orders and delivery, Brookline News reported.
Owner Rahman Hashimi said during a licensing hearing on Wednesday that work on the inside is underway and that it will be ready to start serving food in another 60 to 90 days.
Once it opens, this will be the 26th Popeyes location in Massachusetts.
