SOUTHWICK — It’s been several months since the construction of a town-owned fiber-optic network was publicly discussed, but with Town Meeting less than three months away, its principal promoter Doug Moglin made his pitch for supporting the $15 million project to the Capital Expenditure Committee Monday.
“As a project, it is going to be double-digit millions or dollars and I figured we’d put it in front of the [CEC] for an up or down vote,” said Moglin who is also a member of the Select Board.
“It’s appropriate to come [here] for it to move forward,” he said about the project.
