A 45-year-old man from Billerica was seriously injured after his motorcycle crashed in Tewksbury Friday night, according to the town’s police department.
The motorcycle went off the road near 144 Rogers St. and struck an embankment, police said. Officials responded to the area at around 7:45 p.m. after receiving a call for a single-vehicle crash.
The road was wet, Tewksbury police noted. And no other vehicles were involved.
The man suffered serious injuries and was flown by a medical helicopter to a regional trauma center.
The crash remains under investigation.
