WORCESTER – The Millbury baseball team scored three runs to open the Division IV state championship game on Saturday against Lynnfield — and in the end, that’s all the Woolies needed.
Going up 3-2 after the first inning, the Woolies and Pioneers engaged in a pitchers duel from there, one that Millbury freshman Ryan Nikiforow handled masterfully.
